Pacific Rim Pierogies
1 (16-ounce) box Mrs. T’s® potato & cheddar pierogies 2 tablespoons soy sauce 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger 1 tablespoon brown sugar 1 teaspoon wasabi powder 1 scallion, sliced 1/4 cup julienne red bell pepper 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
Sauté pierogies in a 12-inch skillet as package directs. Remove from skillet.In same skillet over medium heat, heat soy sauce, ginger, brown sugar, and wasabi powder 1 minute until well blended. Add pierogies; toss to mix well and heat through. Remove pierogies to a serving platter. To serve, sprinkle with scallion, red bell pepper and sesame seeds.
Makes 4 servings.
